OBEY limited edition Stratocaster!
Here's a unique stratocaster guitar designed by the famous artist Shepard Fairey:

It's a work of art and it's a very playable guitar as well! Here are the "Obey" strat specs:
"Duncan® Designed humbucking and single coil pickups, special "Rustic & Worn" hardware, knurled control knobs, die-cast machine heads, non-pickguard body, volume and tone controls and unique artwork over Black finish.
Available for the first time at Fender's booth at this winter's NAMM show, each Squier Obey model has a US MSRP of $415.99"

The guitar came in for a full setup with 0.009" strings and a wiring modification. The stock pickup wiring of the guitar is a classic vol-tone-tone with a 5-way pickup selector. We rewired the 3 controls to function as: master volume, master tone and variable split for the bridge humbucker. Variable split is a nice wiring option used in some Washburn guitars. It's basically a volume pot controlling only one of the humbucker coils. You can get some P90 type tones out of a 5-wire humbucker using a variable split pot instead of the classic split coil switch.
The guitar feels and sounds great now. The stock Duncan Designed pickups are really good and there's no need for upgrades here.
