Stratocaster XII model !

This is the Fender Stratocaster XII model. It's a 12-string strat style electric guitar and it's crafted in Japan. MIJ(made in Japan) models were always part of my favourite fender guitars.
This one has a 21-fret maple neck with a pau ferro fretboard, three "hot" singlecoil pickups plus an alder body with a hardtail (fixed) bridge instead of a tremolo system. The bridge has through-body string inserts and that's a good thing in terms of sustain.
The hardtail string-through strat body is superior to the classic tremolo-system body in terms of structure, strength, weight distribution and mechanical sustain.

The guitar came in for a setup and an electronics check up. After I checked the electronics, I found that there were some signal interrupts caused by the output jack. So I rewired the jack, cleaned and tightened its metal contacts to ensure there 'll be no interrupts any more. I also cleaned up the pots and pickup selector with a contact cleaner spray.

I set this XII model up with a 0,009" 12-string fender set. I got a nice low action with a bit of neck relief. The nut was lubricated for better tuning stability and the intonation is now spot-on!
If you're into 12-string guitars, the XII is one of the most playable on the market and it's worth checking out!

Here are a few pictures of the actual guitar:

Cheers,
