Yellow Jackson project revamp

This is a project I started back in 2011. It's basically a no-name stratocaster basswood body with a Jackson RX-10D neck bolted on it. Check it out:

I got the Jackson neck used from a good friend that builds high spec electric guitars. It was broken at the end of the headstock and he repaired it. I told him I wanted this neck for a guitar project and so I started looking for parts.
The next step was to decide which body to use. I had an RR shaped body and a Flying V one laying around but I wanted to build something that would resemble old 80's shredding guitars. Therefore, I bought this bright yellow strat body from another friend. The body had already been drilled for a 2-point tremolo so I had to look for such a tremolo assembly. Every tremolo I found was a bit narrower or wider than what I was looking for... I was disappointed and so I decided to bolt a classic 6-point Wilkinson tremolo on the guitar. The result was not so good in terms of looks. Also, the new holes I've drilled were difficult to mask up...

A few years later, I was searching for hardware parts and stuff. So, I spotted this big back tremolo from Hong Kong on Ebay. I immediately took out my straight edge and measured the tremolo stud holes in my guitar. It seemed this trem would be a match for the yellow strat body. A month later, the tremolo assembly arrived and I placed it on the body. Man, it was exactly what I was looking for!
Then, I redid the electronics. I bought a glossy black pickguard via ebay and installed a new HMV 12kOhm ceramic humbucker on it. The Volume pot was replaced with a B500K linear Alpha-brand one. The neck-plate was also replaced with a chrome one. I used a yellow Amplifier knob for the volume control.
I then placed a new set of chrome closed type tuners on the headstock and there she goes! The Jackson super-strat style Project was finally ready after 3 years!

Here a few pics of the final result:

Cheers,
Thanos
