Blackstar HT dual distortion pedal retube. Contrary to other low voltage tube pedals, the HT black star pedals do need a replacement 12ax7 tube every couple of years of frequent use. That's because their internal supply does supply high voltage B+ to the onboard valve, just like in any all-tube amp. Ht pedals are not all tube of course but a tube change will greatly affect their tonal response and that's a good thing for those who like to experiment a bit.
