Behringer X V-amp easy fix!

Hello! So your old X V-amp doesn't produce sound anymore? You keep on saving presets but they are gone as soon as you turn the pedal off?  It gets too tricky when programming any fx? Here's a quick trick to fix your X V-amp pedal board without any tools! All you need is the pedal board, its 9VAC power supply(!) and the manual.
Note: the X V-amp DOES NOT use a boss type 9Vdc adapter, it uses a 9V AC one!
Here's the English manual for the X V-amp:

As the manual suggests, the 1st step is to RESET your pedal board. I know, you 'll have to erase 20 custom presets of yours but hey, they're already lost anyway!... So just reset the on board chip by pressing the TAP and STORE buttons together for 5 seconds while you power ON the X V-amp. That's it! Now the board sounds good as new!

Then, configure your X V-amp so that it has a suitable EQ/volume/Gain for your guitar and amp. Just press NOISE G. and COMPR. together and then use the adjust knob to set the overall volume level of the board. Then, turn the adjust knob while holding down the TAP button and that will set the overall guitar input gain! You can use this to push your pickups a bit if you like lead and heavy tones.
The output EQ and fx settings of the board could be set using the 2nd page of the manual below:

Now, you can customize the factory settings and get new sounds out of your pedal board and I am sure you'll like your new tones and your brand new custom Εq/gain/level configuration!

Cheers,
Thanos
