This one had a 22-fret left-hand neck bolted on a modified strat body. The cutaways of the body are a bit deeper to allow for better fret accessibility. The guitar is equipped with a floyd rose licenced tremolo system. The pickups are standard ceramic ones in an H-S-H configuration. The humbucking pickups are pretty hot with powerful mids and tone suitable for soloing (and lots of 80's "shredding" I might say!). The single coil middle pickup combined with the 5-way p/u selector is suitable for smoother clean and mild overdriven sounds. There is a Alpha A500K master volume and a B500K master tone control for all pickups.
The guitar has a comfortable neck joint and a very smooth and playable neck profile. The frets are medium sized and the headstock is painted in a body-matching color.
This particular stagemaster guitar was bought used for cheap and it had quite a few marks of use. I refinished the neck because it had many dents on it. The frets were leveled and polished. The floyd tremolo has seen better days so we decided to lock it using a small block of wood. The electronics were cleaned with an oil free contact cleaner spray. The guitar was put together, thoroughly cleaned and set up with a fresh set of coated 0,09" strings.
Here are a few pictures of the actual guitar:
